Romed Plank Senior and his wife Hildegard have turned a small farm into the Bartlhof family farm business. Here, they only breed and process their own animals, including cattle, pigs and chickens. Slaughter and processing are carried out directly by father and son Romed in the slaughterhouse of the family holding, with animal welfare and minimum transport as their top priority.
Selling directly is also very important to the Plank family, who has managed to establish a good sales network in recent years. Their tasty Tyrolean specialities are available, by phoning ahead, from the farm and at the farmer’s market in Hall, as well as at the markets in Innsbruck at Sparkassenplatz and Wiltener Platzl and in the family shop in Thaur.
The two Borco Höhns mobile refrigerated sales counters were designed by CP together with the Plank family and delivered in November 2023. After delivering a vending trailer to the Plank family in 2019, it was an honour for us to be able to devise a new project with them.
