2021 CHILDREN’S CAR SEAT TESTS – RECARO MAKO ELITE 2

These days, parents are faced with a huge choice of children’s car seats. However, how safe are they exactly?

In tests conducted in 2021 by ADAC, ÖAMTC and Stiftung Warentest, a whopping five out of the 26 products tested resulted poorly in the event of a collision or for the presence of large quantities of toxic chemicals.

The RECARO MAKO ELITE 2 model was rated “GOOD” based on the criteria of safety, handling, ergonomics and hazardous chemical content.

Among the 26 models tested, not a single one was awarded the “EXCELLENT” rating.
